and i say this as a Halo freak. i always loved the original theme. it sounds like the master chief going into pure kickass mode and i mean punching brutes to unconsiouness in one hit kickass. i wonder what it would be like if in a cut scene the master chief ran in yelling and just started to kick ass...

it's not perfect. i think it needs a different and more upbeat background. soft piano? also you need to keep the background on at all times if you ask me. otherwise it is truly great...

At 00:46 instead of taking the background out, you should of had it picked up into a more fast paced song, with some lighter tones and another instrument maybe... but i like it.
