Not bad

I'm not sure how you got number 2 to the top five. But i must say, ive heard worse, and this isn't seem too bad. I took the time to review, didn't i?

Well, not too bad. Not my thing, though.
Maybe a Remix? Definatley not seeing it as DnB...

axeFX responds:

I appreciate you taking the time to review. This song was rushed, so whatever. Theres no way im working on this anymore, so a remix is out of the question.

Epic

And i love this powerful epic. It reminds me somehow of a midevial battle, between the great knights of two empires, as bloody, brutal, and frantic as it can get. Or thats asa close to a vision as i get.

The ending doesn't "die out". It ends, but it snaps to the begenning violently.

About 1:01 i see instead more of a war hero in "shell shock". If you play war games like i do, the call of duty series is big on these. you might know what i mean.

And he looks around, to see an epic battle, in which he is in the midst of. The enemy is slaughtered, yet he sees his men, those under his command, and the fellow soldiers of his empire's army.

He takes an opponet down with his crossbow. With no time to reload it, he tosses it to the ground and charges with a sword pulled from a sheath on his back. he slays one. then another. And his sword is knocked from his hands.

From there the battle continues, the rest. Unwritten.

Great stuff. I don't know. Its perfect, really. Thats all i can say. Not downloaded. But 10/10, 5/5. And you earned it.

MaestroRage responds:

I am quite familiar with Shell Shock, as you say, very common in the battle field. I did appreciate your story, very fitting to the tune D:! I do love the kind of story where the ending is left to the reader. I personally go nuts with these types of endings!

I can understand not downloading the file, nobody said you had to if you liked it, I am grateful for the review, thank you for that, i'm glad you liked it!

OverlyCatchy

I don't know where this original came from. But its catchy, and i do like it. Not quite download quality, but so good! SO FREAKING CATCHY!

yea, its good. So keep it up.

As I said in the description, I'm hoping to one day cover this in Ska form. Our bass already knows the part, so wee!

Not Bad

Nice voice. I like the collaborative vocal background.

i know youre probally perhaps too busy playing youre awesome trumpet, but you should concider singing a little more often, or background singing or something. I like it...

I still noticed a horn or something in the background. It sounds real. Are you the only one in the band who plays an instrument along those lines? hmm?

and in case you werent sure. The official word for a trumpeteer player is A Trumpeteer. Unfortunatley, a trumbone player isnt a Trumboneer, i don't think...

You guys are still good. Keep it up.

HyruleanHyroe responds:

Nope, they're trombonists. I know what I'm called, lol!

I'm the only trumpet player. This song is merely a fabrication of the magical world of multiple takes. :P

What is a Rave?

Seriously. Apparantley i freaking love "Rave" music. Just can't figure out what in hell a "Rave" is! Maybe its wikipedia time...

Well anyway, this is pretty damned awesome. I love the opening, where it sounds like Biggi from Juiced. heh heh heh.

Love the synths and everything. Can't make out the female voice 'cept for "Drop that ghetto blast off"

I haz a feeling taht vaz waaaaaaaaaahy offh.

lets see, anywho. love the screaming crowds, hah. Great.

All in all, its pretty damned good. love the beat, love the synth, love everything. Its all got great melody.

Great Work, KeepItUp.

JohnnyFrizz responds:

Well the word "Rave" has many definitions, one of them would be 'a rave' or place where a party takes place, but not any party, rave are huge parties which take place on stadiums or football fields...bad thing bout them is the common use of drugs...but anyway.

Rave is also defined as a musical genre sometimes also referred to as "Hardcore" (something that I dont like that much cause Rave and Hardcore are very different things).

So there you go! Oh! And about the female vocal, she says: "Drop That Ghettoblaster" for those who dont know what ghettoblaster is, heres a definition: Ghettoblaster is a name given to portable stereo systems capable of playing radio stations and recorded music (usually cassettes and/or, since the early 1990s, CDs), at relatively high volume. Very common on the poor neighborhoods of USA (also known as Ghettos) primarily used by black Americans.

Search for both on Wikipedia for more info! :D

I hope this clears up your questions.

Well...

You are right. It is a rigged system, and i'm not sure what it is based on, but it needs fixing. It needs to be based on a system that i am not finished. But it should be.

Anyway, feels like, i don't know, seizure music. Its okay. But the prominent synth is either on or off, constantly switching, and it is giving my ears a seizure. I like that it loops, though. The synths arent bad, but mixed together they arent too good. at least not like this.

The voice is good, but the vocals are kind of whacked. seriously. But worshiping music, thats a religion i could warm up to. : P

lets see, the background wasn't too bad. I liked in, but once again, more in and out. another audio seizure. seriously.

So all combined, it is not too bad...
But i have heard better, and you should try again.
keep it up...

Telliath responds:

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you 1/2 liked it. Sorry for the multiple seizures. :)

Great Crap!

And i use crap in a good way. I HAVE heard better. But still some good stuff.

Downloaded. Something so many songs arent worthy of. Yours was. So i did.

Really man. Congratulations and keep it up.

And another bombing run from Foxtrot-Delta-Zero-Zero

Elfire responds:

thanks, better stuff is on the way.

Pretty Sweet

I would love to do the stuff people like you do, but i cannot afford the programs. No spare cash for it...

axeFX responds:

Try the demo... and if you like it, save up and get it

I can't agree

with SomeRandomGuy. I believe the Audio Portal exists for gread music like this. My Central Playlist; every song i have, is maybe 50 or so songs. and at least 40 of those must be ones i deemed good enough to download off of the audio portal.

Great songs like this one. I love EVERYTHING about it. Do i need say more?

5/5, 10/10, and Downloaded. Which comes with a favorite. I think you deserved first place this week.

JohnnyFrizz responds:

Thank you very much Foxtrot-Zero! I agree with you but (sadly) we have to admit that the idea of the audio portal was just a way to get original music for flash artist and game/flash creation...
