Interesting

I am afraid it is just not my cup of tea and i will not dock you for that, though what you tried to achieve came out pretty damned well.

I listened but i was unable to hear those clicks...

I like bagpipes, though i perfer them, in a more upbeat usage. But naturally that makes no sence here. I liked the synths you used as quire voices. Or at least they sounded like that to me up close. During that sort of solo.

It is kind of short, but that is okay. Anyway, nice job. Not a total piece of crap. 9/10, 5/5

Draqo responds:

Choirs are actually synthed samples (with dynamic switches to seem like the choir is taking breaths/transitioning) rather than complete synths. And yes, some people are use to bagpipes playing amazing grace, Greensleeves, or bar songs from Irish/Scottish folk music.

Thanks for the review. :D

Sweet Crap

I don't usually give a Dance Song a full five, but i only would if you earned it. Songs are rarely good enough for me to feel i ought to download. And i am afraid that the voices in the song, even how bare they are, just kind of turn away my taste to this song. I am okay with the guy saying "Are you ready" and that one other guy saying "Freeze" but i suppose i am picky : P

Anyway, it was a good song. I did enjoy it. You did a good job, and that i respect. I can only wish i had what i need to start doing this kind of crap, except i just don't have the cash for a program, and i would not save up for a mac just for garage band. Anyway, great work, 5/5, 9/10

Ethalyn responds:

ye well thanks man=P AND THAT GUY SAYS BASS! i know they sound alike cause there is another guy saying freeze the same way to;-) well im glad you liked the rest though, and DOWNLOAD FL FROM PIRATE BAY! THAT SIMPLE! dude who buys stuff these days xD! glad yo u liked the song man and thanks for the ten=)

Elephant Rave

is a hard game with good music. Believe me, tracking you down was not easy. But i got this song! finally! but now i am going to have to browse through your work. Darn you for having so much. it would be nice if you made something based on that piano though...

ZeRo-BaSs responds:

:) Thanks

I must disagree

with the poster below me. I am not aware of quite what the waltz sounds like but this is a nice smooth song. However, if i read sheildmans post right (and i may have the entirely wrong definition) this is nothing like Marty O'Donalds work. The two works are entirely different types, and therefor this does not sound like anything from halo. I am not compareing you to him, as this is still very talented work (and you made this, he is just a composer i believe).

Anyway, good job. Though not my cup of tea. 8/10 and 4/5

Pretty Sweet

But none the less, it is BitterSweet. I love it, but the pause before the (violins?) came in was at the very least, too long. I also like the drums you brought in, but they need a little tweaking. Whe violins are good and i think need to be a little more prominent. The sound effect from the begenning that you mixed back in was good, but i think that it needs to fade out and then let the violins fiish the song. But that is creative control and i suppose that is all you.

Regardlessly, even if it might be a little short, it is a great song. 5/5, 9/10. Not bad.

Pretty Awesome

Don't know if this is the right genre but it is a beautiful song. I really have nothing of the sort, and i am giving this the highest rating and a nice download.

It's always hard to place songs in genres on newgrounds. Everything can sound like almost anything.

pretty good

I like halo. I am a halo fan. And the MJLONIR remix is a good song. But i also like 8-bit. And mixed properly you get aomething wonderful. Like this here.

I question weater most "8-bit" songs are actually only 8 bits or are just "bitted" using a number of the same bit sounds. Hmm.

Awesome

I love music and as though as many people would seem to not, i really like techno. This here is like the jazz of techno, and i really love it. It is great work and i am, in fact, going to download it.

I don't download very often. Great music...

True Talent

Perhaps not my cup of tea, but great work. I love it when you come in with the piano. And it has a good beat. For some reason, i don't think of a Spartan clad in full MJLONIR ready to kick ass on the front line, but an amazing, like, Spartan spy, with slender black armor with those panels that reflect their surroundings (i mean the panels, not the suit. You would have to read halo: ghosts of onyx) and doing all kinds of stuff, including breaking necks and firing a silenced magnum with precision acuraccy to break into some sort of citadel.

sorry for the long review. But good music. Actually, i am going to download it. : )

Fraid not.

well i don't know how well i like it. Your piano was great and i like the synths very well. But something was just off. Just not my cup of tea. Regardlessly i still respect your work and effort, and it truly is a fine piece of music. But the main halo theme is a bit lower and heavy metal, and even a remix needs to sort of keep with it for it to be recognised as that.

Try doing it again, you never know. If i could find the right, free program and had the knowledge, i would edit this song to the end of the earth.
