I'm a little turned off by this one

I think it would haver been excellent, but you went a little heavy on that pulsing, screaming sound. It started to sound like you had a good synth going, but turned it up loud enough to make it uncomfortable to listen to, and then just faded it in and out sharply. The result sounded absolutely broken to me, and was slightly disorienting because i'm wearing headphones. Thats unfortunate, because it sounded like it could have been a god melody.

I liked the piano break around 1:15, but the song broke into some crappy dubstep-style mix around 1:45. Sorry, I have no toleration for dubstep.

Sorry, mate. I'm largely an immense fan of your work, but this one just isn't so high on my list, so i'll have to pass it over. I don't do a whole lot of reviewing, but you're one of my favourite artists, so I decided to explain myself.

I look forward to more great music.

Very good, particularly liked the Klaxon thing you did from about 0:25 to :33

Pretty Good

For some reason the melody itself reminds me of something out of Still Alive, from Mirrors Edge (Not Portal). The sound, however, sounds like an 80's style synthesizer (in sound, not quality, which isn't a bad thing in itself) and i'm not the most fond of it.

I like pianos. The Piano interlude in this one was good. My reccomendation; make the instruments gentler and softer, use more piano. The actual song is great, but you might want to make the false-ending a little less tricking, like a with a lingering note (I was about to mention it was too short when it came back).

Anyway, great work, particularly for your first delve into a genre.

Yeah it does sound a little bit like that song. Thanks for the all the advice. I'll try to use some of those elements in my future songs.

Thanks for the review and support.

Kind of a Clash here...

The Guitar playing is bloody excellent, just not in my favorite style, and I have a problem with you having played right over the original, simply because the original strings clash with your electric guitar.

Nonetheless, it is in and of itself absolutely epic.

Now I don't like House to begin with...

And i'm going to try to set aside my hatred for christian music (which actually doesn't stem from my atheism, but from the fact that i've just never heard a good piece of christian music, save for one or two).

But this is honestly crap. What you have is a simple (and suckish) beat, and a poorly spliced choir. Plus it sounds like its covered in static.

Look, i could go into detail, but I won't. I've seen how you react to anyone who dares speak against you, but remember your place in the top five doesn't give you the right to be an elitist asshole.

Mans0n responds:

how is this in anyway helpful? nobody cares about your anti christian views. and maybe if u had a system or decent producing headphones you would know that this song is loaded with bass. and if u think this is simple the flp file would blow your fucking mind.

One of my favorite pieces to date

I absolutely love the energy in this song, and the clear sound of the cello for the bass, as a live recording, absolutely completes it.

I cannot put into words how awesome this piece is. I've stopped writing reviews save for special occasions, and this is sure as fuck one of them.

Keep doing what you do, lest you deprive your listeners of such excellency.

Not an Ambulance Siren

Thats actually a Klaxon. Typically used in Air Raids and Tornado Warnings, and famous as the diving alarm for WWII era submarines, the sound is made by a toothed gear, driven either by hand crank or electric motor, striking a fixed plate. The resulting sound is amplified, and often directed, through a typical 'horn' shape.

Sorry for being so particular.

Holy Shit

Its been a long time since i've written a review, because its been a long time since i've heard something THIS fucking epic. If I had to make any complaint, its that this song is not long enough.

CreamingStar responds:

Well, I'm glad I could inspire you to grace me with you critiques! I do agree that the song is not long enough. I'm thinking about lengthing it a bit, but I do like the balance it had now. Either way, thank you very much for listening!
