Pretty Awesome

What can i say? you done good. Its "entrance" is sort of un provoked. I like the extra feeling that picks up in the background about 0:25.

I don't know. Im stunned by your awesome work. you earned your ranking.

shadowmana responds:

Thank you sir! I always try to build up at the start of songs a bit.

Not bad

i wish i could appreciate it more but my damned headphones just gave up.

no worrys though. i like the song. 9/10, 5/5.
i need to get a new pair of kickass headphones... because mine broke...

XenoxX responds:

Well I am glad you liked it even with out good head phone lol. Thanks for the review!!!!

clever

a tutorial on making electo type music. except you turned a tutorial on composing into a song. awesome! you are a freaking genius!

EchozAurora responds:

Some say that. ; ]

Thanks for checking out more of my stuff.. you'll prolly like the happy song if you liked this.. I'm thinking about tweaking it and uploading it here in the next couple days.

Nice

your description makes me think of the Protheans from Mass Effect. you know they all died, right? the music is also somewhat similar.

at the same time i think of a "Don't Panic" song from the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. just the music that book would put out, but its like you went and remixxed it.

on a side note, i like spelling remix, mix, and remixed with a double x in music cases.

EchozAurora responds:

Nifty.. lol

I had fun with this one.. a lot of old synth I don't use anymore really.. but representative of my little experimental phase nonetheless.

Thanks for the review!

nice song

i never knew the name of this song. and more importantly, never truly liked it. but i love what youve done with it. great Mixx. im going to have to check out some of your other work for sure.

EchozAurora responds:

I love to put a new spin on things.

Thanks for the review!

Axiom?

is the name of the mothership in WALL-E. just mentioning. interesting song.

nubbinownz responds:

Axiom basically means "truth" ;)

Sweet

never heard this genre before, but i really like it. Its SO FREAKING CATCHTY! i can see this in an movie intro, or an arcade game for a console. sweet music.

i am on the broadcast team next year. perhaps i could reccomend your music?

anway. great work. 5/5, 10/10, downloaded. a rare honor. keep it up.

JohnDare responds:

Yes!!

Bittage

I love 8-Bit type songs,. This song DOES have a good, actual supporting melody, of bits. I know there is not just 8 but i like it. It is a good song, just not good enough. 5/5

I like the "dull" section, and then the bits fade back in. Try messing around with like, Radio Effects on the Bit in those kinds of places.

Good work.

Karco responds:

Eh, the only 8-bit synth is the square, and it's EQed, so technically none of this song is 8-bit type. :P

Thanks for the review!

Sweet

Literally. This song is nice, and relaxing. So relaxing, i can't even use my common light neutral cursing here!

I like the length. Not seen in many songs. Therefor you can stretch it out, though i think that the sounds at 2:00 should have come about 30 seconds earlier and lasted a littlelonger. It gets interesting after the slow down, like a fat rectangle became skinny and tall. Completely inverted. I like how you bounced around the noises (i use headphones so i can appreciate that) but it just kind of screwed up as sped up. Once it had gotten fast it was a nice melody.

Great asong anyway. Trying to listen and type may have screwed up my review ( i am getting clutterd thinking and am now typing to the songs beat). Anywho, 8/10, 4/5. Great Work.

Semaphore responds:

thanks =) I know what you mean the length in the mainpart is a little to stretched up and the end yould be longer but that's the song =D

btw you destroyed my 28 streak of 10 points xD

Interesting

I am afraid it is just not my cup of tea and i will not dock you for that, though what you tried to achieve came out pretty damned well.

I listened but i was unable to hear those clicks...

I like bagpipes, though i perfer them, in a more upbeat usage. But naturally that makes no sence here. I liked the synths you used as quire voices. Or at least they sounded like that to me up close. During that sort of solo.

It is kind of short, but that is okay. Anyway, nice job. Not a total piece of crap. 9/10, 5/5

Draqo responds:

Choirs are actually synthed samples (with dynamic switches to seem like the choir is taking breaths/transitioning) rather than complete synths. And yes, some people are use to bagpipes playing amazing grace, Greensleeves, or bar songs from Irish/Scottish folk music.

Thanks for the review. :D
